Real-world installation examples
Every home is different. On this page you can see how we install outdoor detection, sirens, sensors and cameras in practice — always tailored, never as a standard package.
Movement outside the property, siren activated immediately, intruder leaves. In practice, outdoor detection prevents damage — instead of only recording what happened inside afterwards.
More than 3,000 installations since 2019, mainly for Dutch nationals and expats in Spain. We regularly receive footage from customers showing intruders leaving immediately as soon as the outdoor siren sounds.
Warning sign
Visible security is the first deterrent. Burglars choose the path of least resistance — a clear warning sign on the facade shows the property is protected, even before a sensor or siren is activated.

Outdoor siren
Burglars prefer to work unnoticed. Our outdoor sirens produce up to 110 dB — loud enough to attract immediate attention. Many installations combine a white siren with a strobe in red, orange or blue, matched to your facade and warning sign.
- Immediate deterrent as soon as outdoor sensors detect movement
- Multiple sirens possible, indoors and outdoors, for larger properties
- Strobe for extra visibility during an alarm

Outdoor detectors
Outdoor detectors pick up movement on your property immediately — before anyone reaches a window or door. Our 90° models monitor large areas around garden, driveway and terrace.
90° motion detector
Suitable for wide outdoor spaces. As soon as someone enters the property, the system activates the outdoor siren.

Basement with patio
In Spain we often see basements with a patio. That is a vulnerable point: someone can lower themselves down to enter through a window. A strategically placed outdoor detector makes that virtually impossible without triggering the alarm.

Detection by a patio next to the basement. Can be combined with a curtain detector on the side for extra perimeter security, for example when planting or height differences in the garden are a factor.
Curtain detectors
Curtain detectors monitor a narrow zone in a straight line — ideal for windows, doors, balconies and fences. On each side, coverage of up to approximately 10–15 metres is often possible, without unnecessary alerts outside the protected zone.

Indoor sensor as back-up
With outdoor detection we almost always install an extra sensor indoors. That provides a second layer of security and makes alarm notifications easier to verify. We often choose a motion detector with built-in photo verification — unobtrusive, without separate cameras in view.

Cameras for verification
Cameras do not replace outdoor sensors — they are the add-on to check an alarm notification. Our wireless outdoor cameras run on battery and solar panel, without drilling or breaking. More information: cameras and installation.

Control
Arming and disarming can be done the way that suits you: tag reader, remote control, keypad panel or smartphone app. For rentals we often recommend a tag reader — the tenant uses a personal tag, without codes or apps.
