What is Ajax DoorBell?
DoorBell combines a smart doorbell with professional video: 4 MP wide-angle HDR camera, two-way audio, PIR + AI recognition (people, pets, vehicles) and live/archive in Ajax apps (JetSparrow). Specifications and features based on official Ajax Systems manufacturer data.
Why an Ajax doorbell?

Instant in the app
When someone rings, you get a notification or in-app call. Live view via JetSparrow with low latency.
Smart detection
PIR + AI recognises people, pets and vehicles. Configurable zones — fewer false alerts.
Part of the alarm system
Jeweller/Wings as a fallback channel if Wi-Fi drops. Scenarios: cameras record when detectors alarm.
Outdoor-ready
IP54, indoor/outdoor mount. Built-in backup battery (up to ~1 hour) and battery heating in cold weather.

Installation and power
DoorBell is designed for an external power supply (not battery-only consumer doorbells). During the home visit we check power, mounting height and Wi-Fi/radio range. Linking a wired chime (BellKit) needs a stronger supply per manufacturer specs.
