AJAX Grade 2 Baseline — the product line we install every day
The AJAX Baseline line is the Grade 2 ecosystem based on the Jeweller protocol: professional, fully wireless, and suitable for the vast majority of homes and villas on the Costa Blanca. On this page you will find the indoor and outdoor sensors we combine in practice into one coherent system — with outdoor detection as the foundation and indoor as an additional layer.

Why Grade 2 Baseline? EN 50131 Grade 2, jamming detection via Jeweller, encrypted two-way communication and a wide range of indoor and outdoor sensors. For most homes in Spain this is the right level — without the investment and complexity of Grade 3 Superior.
Hub
Every Grade 2 Baseline system starts with a hub. We work with four variants — as on our homepage. You do not need to choose in advance: during the home visit we bring all versions and review together what fits your home, plot and preferences around photo verification and mobile backup.

PREMIUM 4G
Hub 2 Plus
Our default choice: four independent connections, jamming detection and photo verification — even on mobile only. During power or internet outages the system keeps reporting via the backup battery.

Open-field range: According to AJAX, all Baseline Grade 2 hubs (Hub 1 through Hub 2 Plus) achieve radio range up to 2,000 metres between hub and sensors in open field. The Superior Hub G3 (Grade 3) reaches up to 3,500 metres — relevant for very large plots and villas with multiple outbuildings.
In practice, range depends on walls, concrete and distance to the hub. On large grounds we can place a ReX range extender if needed — within the limits of the chosen hub.
Colours: All indoor products (sensors, keypads, sirens, controls) are available in white and black. Outdoor sensors are only available in white — to limit heat build-up in the Spanish sun. We match the colour to your interior and facade.

This is where we start: detection before someone is inside. Curtain and PIR sensors for terrace, garden, driveway and facade — weather-resistant for the Spanish climate. We configure motion sensors for your pets with professional placement so they can move freely without triggering alarms.

Bidirectional curtain detector: two independent detection zones per sensor. Ideal along facade, terrace or pool surround — fewer sensors, more coverage.

Indoor sensors
Indoor — second layer after outdoor detection
Indoor sensors form the catch layer: hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and utility rooms. We place them where they make sense — not as a replacement for outdoor detection. Every motion sensor is configured for your pets: no alarms triggered by pets, yet immediate alert when an intruder enters.

Basic opening detector with reed switch: door or window open = alarm. Compact, reliable, up to 7 years battery.

Grade 2 Baseline and Superior Grade 3 can work together in one ecosystem. For most clients Baseline is sufficient; Superior is the conscious upgrade for maximum sabotage protection.
