Jamming
Interference of wireless signal
All alarm systems these days are wireless.
Convenient to install, but wireless also has a major drawback that burglars like to take advantage of.
Anything wireless can be disrupted by a device the size of a mobile phone, called a Jammer, also known as a signal jammer.
By disrupting the signal of sensors, no burglary report will reach an alarm centre. The system is switched off, so to speak, if a Jammer is active.
