What do I need to secure a villa?
Many customers ask: “What do you recommend?” This is our standard advice — the same base as for apartment and townhouse. For a villa, outdoor detection around garden, terrace or driveway is often essential; sensor type and count we tailor during the home visit.

This is what we almost always recommend in practice. Hub 2 Plus (Wi-Fi + 4G) can be placed anywhere, MotionCam PhOD for a photo on your phone when the alarm triggers, and StreetSiren outdoors so neighbours and the street hear it too.
We carry every product with us, also if you want to expand straight away. An installation at a later time stays € 899 excl. VAT.
You can start lower. Then you give up capabilities that are really needed in Spain: the Hub 2 Plus, photo verification, 4G and wifi as extra backup channels to the Ajax Cloud, or that 2-year on-site warranty.
Why this standard advice?
Hub 2 Plus has Wi-Fi and 4G: you place the hub where mobile reception is strongest, not only next to the router. MotionCam PhOD sends a photo to your phone on alarm — just like a regular MotionCam. The difference is PhOD (Photo on Demand): you can also request a photo manually, even when the alarm is off or there is no break-in. Useful to check everything is fine while you are in the Netherlands. StreetSiren is outdoors and audible for neighbours and the street; that is stronger deterrence than an indoor siren alone.

Visible security is the first deterrent. With every installation we mount warning signs on the facade as standard — so everyone can see the property is protected, before any sensor or siren acts.
Included in the starter kit
Format of your choice: A3, A4 or A5. You decide which size we mount. The colour of the signs is always the same with us.
Optional: more sound and control
The base setup works via your phone. Want more sound or a remote control? You can add these products.

Optional: outdoor detection
With a detached villa we almost always advise outdoor detection. A larger plot with garden, driveway or fencing needs protection before anyone reaches the building.
Every villa is different. The number and type of sensors depends on the size of your home and plot, planting, height differences in the garden and how access routes are laid out. Without viewing the grounds we cannot show a standard package. During the home visit we walk your plot and advise a tailored setup. More background on our page about outdoor detection.

We do not list the price of outdoor detection on this page — it depends on the plot. During the home visit you receive one fixed proposal on the spot with the final setup — and the option to have the system installed straight away. The advice comes from our installers themselves, not salespeople: professionals with over 7 years of experience on the Costa Blanca and Costa Cálida.

Renting out your villa?
Tenants, cleaners and key holders need to operate the alarm easily — without your phone or multiple remote controls.
KeyPad Combi — all in one
Instead of multiple remote controls we advise a KeyPad Combi by the front door for rentals. This is one device with tag reader, control panel and siren built in. The smartest choice on cost: you replace a separate tag reader, indoor siren and keypad with one product (€129 incl. installation).
The downside: the siren often sits outdoors at arm height and is therefore easier to sabotage. You always get a notification — but for rentals we always advise an extra siren indoors or outdoors, so sabotage can never lead to a silent alarm.
Tags for tenants. With a tag reader outdoors each tenant, cleaner or key holder gets their own tag (€7.50). With it they arm and disarm the alarm. In the app you can see every time someone operates the alarm if you wish.
A tenant loses a tag? No problem — you remove it in the app and add a new one easily. A tag also has no battery that can unexpectedly run flat, unlike a remote control. All components (except SpaceControl) are checked every 12 seconds for operation and battery level.

During the home visit we determine the final setup together and you receive one fixed proposal on the spot with the total for products, placement and installation — with the option to have it installed straight away.
