Why do we mention quality so explicitly? Because the quality of the products used by many security companies is to cry about.
We would like to give you an example of what to look out for when choosing a reliable security company.
We start with an important part of the alarm system, namely the outdoor siren. Because chasing away an intruder can only be done in one way: Making a lot of noise. Lees meer / Read more
Loud siren not an obvious choice
We think you should at least expect that in the event of a burglary attempt, a loud siren will sound under all circumstances. And that it is not easy to sabotage this siren.
However, sabotaging the siren is quite easy at the largest security companies in Spain and the Netherlands, because they do not have an outdoor siren in their product range. Let this be understood.
They simply mount an indoor siren, which is not waterproof, outside under a shelter to keep it dry. The risks are obvious because there is no tamper protection whatsoever.
Mounting an indoor siren outside under a roof comes with many disadvantages:
Can be taken off the wall within 1 second, and within 2 seconds the batteries are out, making the siren non-functional. We will gladly demonstrate it to you.
This is just one of the many examples of low-quality products that big sellers are working with.
People don’t want something like this, I hear you thinking. Yet millions of people in Europe are willing to pay a huge monthly fee for these systems our competitors install, because they don’t look into the system.
Many people do not know how easily someone can disable / sabotage their alarm. Had they educated themselves, or not been persuaded by the pushy representative at the door, they would undoubtedly have chosen a different security company.
That is why we think it is important to inform you properly what to look out for when choosing a really good and reliable alarm system.
Hikvision offers genuine 110db outdoor sirens that protect against tampering and are IP68 rated, i.e. waterproof. But there are many other things to consider when choosing an alarm system.
Financial benefit after only 1 year
Why pay for an alarm system with us all at once when you can opt for a monthly fee elsewhere?
You probably know the offers from sales representatives who ring your doorbell uninvited to promote their alarm system.
The installation is almost always free, and for the first six months you pay only a few tens per month. However, no one tells you what the monthly cost will be next year. Lees meer / Read more
Representatives always want you to sign a long-term contract.
You sign a contract for 3 or even 5 years so that the system is still paid off, because there is no such thing as a truly free installation. And the longer the contract, the higher the representative’s bonus.
It sounds tempting, but if you add up the total monthly costs, you will see that they are much higher than the cost of our complete systems.
Moreover, if you stop making monthly payments after the contract period, the system becomes unusable and you have to look for a new alarm system again.
Terminating your contract with many security companies is also perceived as very difficult, or even impossible, as evidenced by the many negative comments both listed online and heard on the consumer programme Radar. Broadcast back on our FAQ page.
Therefore, we are sure that paying a fair price for high-quality products once is much wiser than signing a contract. Not knowing what the cost will be next year nor knowing exactly what quality you will get if you only rely on the nice words of representatives. For the representative at the door, only 1 thing is important: The signature on his contract. After that, you are no longer his problem.
Our systems always pay for themselves within 1 to a maximum of 1.5 years, and after this period you will quickly save 1000 euros per year on your home security.
Subscription pay for monitoring centre useless if burglar uses ´Jammer´
Jamming detection
Protection against signal interference.
All alarm systems these days are wireless.
Convenient to install, but wireless also has a major disadvantage that burglars like to take advantage of.
Anything wireless can be disrupted by a device the size of a mobile phone, called a Jammer, also known as a signal jammer.
By disrupting the signal of sensors, no burglary report will reach an alarm centre. The system is switched off, so to speak, if a Jammer is active.

Only the alarm systems with constant monitoring for interference with the wireless signal, such as Hikvision, notify you immediately on your smartphone if an intruder sabotages the signal.
As soon as a Hikvision alarm system detects Jamming, you will receive a notification on all linked smartphones, allowing you to take the appropriate action.
Other brands do not have Jamming detection.
If wireless signal interference is not continuously monitored and reported to you immediately, you will not know when there is an intruder in your home because the motion sensors cannot communicate.
Let this be understood well:
A ´Jammer´ can disable any wireless alarm system!
Only the alarm systems with constant monitoring for interference with the wireless signal, such as Hikvision, notify you immediately on your smartphone if an intruder sabotages the signal.
Important to know:
The largest security companies in Spain and the Netherlands do not check for interference to wireless signals, despite representatives telling you that they do check for this. They blatantly lie.
Free demonstration:

Alarm centre really necessary?
Many sales representatives try to persuade you to choose an alarm system with an ‘alarm center’ to justify the monthly costs and because the police will always come to check if there is a break-in.
But do the police really come to check? This you should know.
First of all, the ‘incident room’ they talk about is nothing more than a call centre where burglary reports come in, it has nothing to do with a police incident room, and there is no direct link to the police. So let’s call it call centre from now on. Lees meer / Read more
Secondly, in Spain, the police are only called if you have given explicit permission beforehand by phone. So in the case of any burglary, you will always be called by the Call Centre yourself first to give this permission before the police are notified. If you miss their call, nothing happens!
Moreover, these calls are always in Spanish. If you do not speak Spanish then precious time is lost.
Our experience: We ourselves have deliberately caused a burglar alarm/sabotage dozens of times by removing old active systems when we installed new ones. Despite the homeowner not speaking to the call centre operator, we never saw police come by. This proves that if you miss or ignore the call from the call centre, no action is taken and nobody goes to look at your home.
Thirdly, it is very easy to block communication with the call centre because a permanent connection is never active.
If a burglar carries a Jammer, it ensures that no notification comes in. So if no notification comes in, you don’t have to expect them to call you either. It is as simple as that.
Is it really that easy to block communication with call centres?

Few people think about the possibility of using outdoor detection. With outdoor detection, the siren goes off as soon as the intruder takes one step into the garden.
