Curtain detector

By mounting a curtain detector on the outside of the door, the siren will be activated before an intruder can touch the door.
 
This loud siren will chase away any intruder before anything kwa burglary has actually taken place. This eliminates the need to call the police almost immediately because no break-in has occurred, and the intruder is automatically chased away.

Curtain detector in front of or between roller shutters

The Hikvision curtain detectors can be mounted either between or in front of a roller shutter.
 
When mounted in between, the siren will sound as soon as the shutter is lifted. When mounted in front, the siren will sound as soon as someone puts a hand against the shutter.
 
Whichever one chooses, the siren will always sound before the window behind is forced.
 
If the detector is mounted in front of the shutter, the ideal mounting height is between 2 and 3 metres.

90-degree outdoor detector

This picture shows how 1 detector outside the house is used to monitor 2 windows and a door from the outside. As soon as someone walks into the orange marked area, the siren will alert the entire neighbourhood, and of course the residents, via smartphone.
 
The camera, also mounted, allows the owner to immediately see the intruder’s reaction. We speak from experience when we say that it will run away hard upon hearing so much noise.
 
Incidentally, several of our customers choose to install more than one outdoor siren. If someone unwanted walks into the garden, it’s all party time.

The same detector, but now mounted in a different location.
 
These detectors can monitor a distance of 15 metres at a 90-degree angle. The mounting height is always between 80 and 130 cm, with 100 cm being preferred for best results on detecting intruders.
 
With their all-white colour, these detectors blend in nicely with the often white walls that new-build houses in Spain are made of.

Double curtain detection

Global brand Optex has dozens of different detectors in its range, especially for outdoor use. These include this double curtain detector, which can easily monitor 15 metres per side. (In practice, we even achieve distances of 22 metres per side if required).
 
The distance is individually adjustable on both the left and right, as is the sensitivity.
 
As soon as someone walks into the orange marked area, the siren will alert the entire neighbourhood, and of course the residents, via smartphone.
 
Again, this mounting height averages 100 cm.
