We read a lot about all those well-known big companies that install alarm systems, including the many negative reviews (especially regarding cost and subscription cancellation).

 

When we searched further, we came across Best Alarm System’s website. After reading the website about how this alarm system works, we saw that the “direct contact with the police” that other companies screen with has no added value.

 

What does add value are the outdoor alarms, with infra-red detectors and cameras. You immediately get an alarm on your mobile phone if someone walks into the detection area, and can then immediately see on your camera (also back in time) who it was. You can then call the police yourself, or not, because upon hearing the outdoor alarm (which goes off when they walk through an infrared detection zone) most burglars take off right away.

 

In our case, the outdoor cameras were hung at strategic points in the garden and not immediately visible to intruders. A super good idea! We have almost nothing infra red hanging inside (and certainly none of those ugly door/window contact points) only at 2 strategic crossing points.

 

The alarm system used is also good to set up as a customised system (according to personal preferences, lots of options). Burglars are in view long before they are inside, fantastic!

 

The installation went very quickly and smoothly, communication was punctual and fast from the very first moment, and the after-care is great. Jeroen and Pascal respond immediately to our questions, and part of our learning process took place after installation, in practice. Really SUPERRRR what was done here (this was the third house we had fitted with an alarm system, so we have some comparison), perfect consultation on the installation (what, where and why), clear instruction both during and after installation, very attentive after-care, and a price at which a “subscription” to a well-known large company is very quickly recouped. Worth a 5/5.

I had a complete alarm system installed in my home by Best Alarm system. To my great satisfaction. In the preliminary stage, I was accurately informed by Jeroen. On the day of the installation, Pascal and Jeroen arrived neatly on time. In Spain, that really is a plus.

 

On arrival, they first took a good look at my house to install the most efficient alarm system possible. When in doubt, both went into consultation with each other and a complete alarm plan was made in mutual agreement. Really great, first thinking and then doing. After the final test, another adjustment was made, so both were also satisfied with the complete installation.

 

I saw that they did their work with passion and healthy abandon. I have not yet had to make use of the after-sales service, but should it be necessary, I am confident of it. A company I can definitely recommend in terms of: keeping appointments, good plan of action and a professional installation.

After careful consideration, we opted for Best Alarm System primarily because of its philosophy: a one-off investment (i.e. no subscription costs) and a focus on preventing uninvited guests from entering your home, i.e. a focus on security ‘outside around the house’.

 

After several months of experience with the system and especially the way Pascal and Jeroen not only carried out the installation but also took care of the follow-up and initial guidance on how to ‘work with the system’, we are very satisfied!!! True, in our case there appeared to be a few ‘hick ups’ in the system.

 

Because of the very accurate way in which both gentlemen (and especially Pascal as first point of contact) handled (and are handling) these, we did not experience any hiccups at all. In short, we heartily recommend the company!!!
